Only an idiot would think winter was done when spring had sprung on the calendar and the scientific community is united in that fact.


Light snow moving into portions of western Iowa this morning may reduce visibility for drivers. The National Weather Service said a dusting to a half inch of snow is possible.

It will be cloudy in Des Moines this morning with isolated light snow.

I've seen it snow during the weekend of the Drake Relays at the end of April.
