I'm not eating crow today, but a member of the family.

Last month I predicted that The Big Lug Nut would name Janece Valentine to the Iowa Court of Appeals.

My theory was that Valentine had given $5,000 to Dummycrat Bruce Braley from 2005-2007.

I also gave minor consideration to The Big Lug Nut feeling pressured to appoint a woman.

Since I wasn't entirely wrong, I'll munch on Magpie and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I got the feeling Valentine wasn't going to make it when she submitted her application, again, for the September opening on the Court of Appeals.
