The Hotline has this today.

...this amusing article from Iowa. " Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., had planned to be in Clinton on Tuesday night, but stayed in Washington, D.C., for the debate on the flag-burning amendment."

Just in case you can't read between the lines of a local newspaper... the message is that Kerry eschewed an Iowa visit in order to stay in Washington to vote against the flag-burning amendment.

HA, It gave those in the Beltway quite the chuckle!
