Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry insisted on Sunday his "botched joke" about President Bush's Iraq policy would not undermine a possible White House campaign in 2008.

Shortly before the Nov. 7 elections...Kerry retreated from public view following his remark to a college audience that young people might get "stuck in Iraq" if they do not study hard and do their homework.

Kerry said he would decide early next year whether to run for president.

The truly funny thing is John Kerry, and his supporters, are the failed punchline of the joke...they just don't get it.
