In 5 Minutes or Less, or it's FREE

Approximately 100 "Women Standing for Peace" gathered in downtown Des Moines yesterday.

The Ragister called it a "crowd" and that these women "converged".

This is the same Ragister that told me 30,000 attended the Downtown Farmers Market and 30,000 attended the Asian Festival.

That makes it seem more like a group mulling around and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Participant Tina Manbeck said..."This does so appeal to me...It is so simple to do, just five minutes of mindfulness." Or Mindlessness?

Paige Fiedler said..."On this Mother's Day, this seems to be a small thing to do." It IS!

Fiedler also said..."I think it is important to make a stand for the children in the world." I believe the children are our future.

Vonnie Salem had the best quote of the day..."I love five-minute peace rallies."

That's it in a nutshell!

Fiberals tell you that a majority of Americans want the U.S. out of Iraq, but where are they?

Americans can't be inconvenienced for more than 5 MINUTES and they certainly can't stay focused for that long.

I'm surprised someone's cell phone didn't go off playing the ring tone "Imagine" or "Give Peace a Chance".

Barry Obambi continued telling a people to contact their Congressman and Senator to end the U.S. involvement in Iraq.

Obambi told a crowd of 1,500, that paid $25 to attend, in Kansas City... "We are 16 votes away from ending this war in the Senate, a comparable number of votes away in the house..."

I see Barry's changed his talk a bit, adding the House votes, after the schooling Senator Grassley's press secretary gave him on the Constitution...

"Senator Obama might want to sign up for American Government 101 to learn about the veto process. Or, he could learn the job he has in the U.S. Senate before thinking he ought to be president."

Touche'!

Because it was a spending bill, that originated in the House, that's where any veto override would need to start.

According to Barry the number to override is comparable to 16, but the House requires two- thirds majority and that would require 72 more votes.

Barry doesn't know the Constitution or basic math, what did he learn at Harvard?
