We've moved from a record for December snowfall, to the snowiest month ever in Iowa.

hoo-ray!

The old record for December snowfall was 17.7 inches in 1961.

Before the snow today we had accumulated 21.1 inches.

The record for snowiest month was 22.2 in February 1962.

I used to see the "Gore-bull" warming sign in my mother's neighborhood, until it became buried under snow & ice!

The Greenpeace offshoot printed the signs on cardboard and their web site encourages people to download and print their material for distribution on car windshields.

Those never get tossed and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I'm already in Maui in my mind.
