Irony

Personally, I'd have to define that as having your power go out from an ice storm as you're blogging about global warming and the scientific community is united in that fact.

We lost power for nearly 12 hours, thankfully the temperature in the house only dropped 8 degrees during that time.

In the decade plus that we've lived at the "Not So Vast Right Wing Ranch" or "Crazy Acres", this is the longest we were without power in the winter.

Yesterday surpassed the February/March ice storm that, as I recall, saw us lose power twice (once for 3 hours and once for 15 minutes).

This all keeps with our "Cold is STUPID" motto.

It puts me back in a Maui state of mind.
