SHUSH-ter

MSNBC has suspended correspondent David Shuster for suggesting that Hellary has prostituted out her daughter...

"There's just something a little bit unseemly to me that Chelsea's out there calling up celebrities, saying support my mom ... doesn't it seem like Chelsea's sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?"

Shuster originally defended his remarks and refused to apologize, but later went on-air (twice) and did just that.

The problem is when reporters are on talk shows, TV or radio, and give opinions versus reporting facts.

Quit blurring the lines and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Interestingly this isn't Shuster's first faux pas.

Last fall Shuster badgered a Republican Congresswoman for not knowing the name of the last soldier killed in Iraq from her district.

Except, the soldier Shuster named was actually from a different district.

Shuster also stated, in May 2006, ..."And I am convinced that Karl Rove will, in fact, be indicted"

That was regarding the Valerie Plame affair and Rove was NOT indicted.

He's also slammed the Bush administration for "ineptitude" and as "an incompetent administration divorced from reality."

It appears that since these were slams against Republicans, that was ok.
