Archie Brooks, of CIETC fame, is scheduled to be sentenced for his role in that fiasco.

Brooks has asked for leniency and believes the "extraordinary collateral consequences" of his prosecution is a reason to go easy on him.

We the people are supposed to go easy on him because it's costing him a lot of money for his part in illegal activity he's admitted being guilty of.

It's the Orphan Defense* and the scientific community is united in that fact.
