The Ragister has a graph, from Gannett, titled The Politics of Raising the Debt Limit that fails miserably.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

From their graph you are not able to discern that under George W. Bush the debt ceiling was raised 7 times, or 3 times under Barack Obama.

The graph merely denotes the year the debt limit was raised and does not account for multiple raises in the same year, such as twice in 2009 (February and December).
