Delinquent

311,566 federal workers and retirees are delinquent taxpayers, owing $3.5 billion in federal taxes.

That's higher than the previous year and from the $3 billion owed in 2009.

It shouldn't be that difficult to get money from the people you pay and the scientific community is united in that fact.

That $3.5 billion would fund the Navy operations and maintenance that President Obama ordered cut last week.

Fiberals would support the $3.5 billion that would be used for domestic HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment activities.

I wonder how many of the delinquents, tax purposes only, are employed in the Executive Office of the President?

In 2009, 50 employees owed $812,917 in back taxes.

By 2011, the number of employees owing had dropped to 41, but the amount owed had climbed to $831,000.
