After reading Monday's Ragister opinion piece concerning motorcycle helmet use. Chris, my wife, wondered why is it optional when seat belts are mandated in a car? where you're surrounded by steel! That was before she found out Steeler's QB Ben Roethlisberger was injured riding his motorcycle, without a helmet. Note the irony of his profession requiring him to wear a helmet for his own protection.
