Dummycrats can't count, but can recycle

Thursday Congressional Dummycrats unveiled their stategy for the 2006 mid term elections.

Dummycrat Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Charles Schumer (NY) called it his party's "New Direction for America".

That theme was tried in 2004 by John Kerry, pictured, and rejected.

According to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (NV), "We have a hundred days to go before the election". OOOPS! As of Thursday, there were 103 days until the November 7 elections.

Dummycrats also want to focus on 6 issues--National Security, Better Jobs and Wages, College Access for All, Energy Independence and Lower Gas Prices, Affordable Health Care and Retirement Security.

From Kerry's 2004 commercial...."We need to get some things done in this country: affordable health care, rolling back tax cuts for the wealthy, really investing in our kids." and "a new direction for America to create jobs and put our economy back on track."

In 2004 Republicans chided Kerry's "New Direction" saying it would cost $1.7 trillion over 10 years and creating a $1 trillion "tax gap."

I'm sure Congressional Dummycrats will recycle that cost too.
