Governor's Debate, Chester is STEW-PID!

I didn't watch all of the debate between Chester Culver & Jim Nussle last night, Green Bay was on Monday Night Football.

I tuned in for the first half hour.

Jim Nussle started awful by avoiding the first question. He thanked all the debate sponsors and then asked for a moment of silence to honor two Iowans killed in Iraq.

Great sentiment, but it wasn't even a moment--more like a second.

It was fun to see Chester sweating as soon as the TV lights came on, lose some weight tubby!

Culver is sooooo annoying with that Bill Clinton 'I feel your pain' move. It's the closed right hand, thumb over finger and pumping it forward.

Culver also got tangled in an abortion question. His answer came out as it's illegal for a woman to be pregnant after the second trimester...OOOPS! Nobody else mentioned it, but go to the videotape, it's there!

Chester mentioned being a former teacher/coach, but isn't smart enough to realize that when you curtail all bullying, as Nussle is for, it INCLUDES bullying of gays!

I thought Nussle should have made mincemeat out of him. Nussle didn't seem to be on top of Iowa issues.

Two more debates to go.
