Concur with Chester and critical of the Pickle

Chester Culver, Commander of the Iowa National Guard, ordered all flags at state facilities to fly at half staff today.

It's to honor Command Sergeant Major Marilyn Gabbard, killed this month in Iraq.

Culver also encouraged individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities and counties to fly their flags at half–staff as a sign of respect.

Culver said it is a fitting tribute to all of Iowa's fallen soldiers and the executive order will apply to any Iowa soldier killed in future action.

Class move Chester!

I have to wonder why Professor Pickle couldn't find a pen in the Statehouse?

I guess he didn't have a CLUE!
