Hold on to your wallet

The Iowa Legislature convenes today.

For the first time since 1965 the Dummycrats control the Governorship, the House and the Senate.

Tax Increases can be expected for buyers of tobacco and probably gasoline.

As a non-smoker, I'm not concerned by the first one.

Except when they'll find their usual way to waste the money.

A gas tax increase will indicate how quickly the voting public will become sour on the new majority.

I know one State Rep reads my (Christopher?) Rants, maybe I'll get some good gossip.
