CommieTommie Harkin is a CO-sponsor of a bill, introduced by Majority Leader Harry Reid, to "amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for human embryonic stem cell research."

Harkin's people had told the Ragister that HIS stem cell research bill would be among the first ten pieces of legislation introduced in the Senate yesterday.

I'm sure, in his new role as chair of the Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, that the Senator is aware that researchers have successfully generated tooth root and supporting tooth ligaments to support a crown restoration in experiments using miniature pigs.

Oops! It appears the stem cells were harvested from the wisdom teeth of young adults.

The snake oil that Harkin, John Edwards, Michael J. Fox and the others try to sell about embryonic stem cell's is false hope.

You can see it on his Senate web site..."Hope will prevail...the long wait is almost over."

He also tries to blur the lines, never once mentioning EMBRYONIC.

The only real progress that has ever been made comes from adult stem cell's.

I wonder how long before they promise to resurrect Christopher Reeve and get him to "walk again"?!?
