Hooray for the rocks & the dirt

I turned on the news this Earth Day morning and I noticed one Channel was highlighting all the Earth Day festivities around Central Iowa people could take in.

There's a good idea, driving to all the Earth Day events!

Last week Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie drove by himself from one Gore-bull warming event in Ames to another in Des Moines.

He justified it by saying he drove a hybrid vehicle.

The scientific community is united in the fact it would have been better if he rode a bike.

Ah eco-nuts!

A couple of things that really irritate me about these phonies is that America is always the villain.

Is it coincidence that Earth Day falls on the birth date of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin?

Also, the eco-nuts never acknowledge the improvements made in the environment.

For example, In a previous post I mentioned the books I read in Maui.

One book, "The Only Game In Town" by Faye Vincent, had a story from one time Pittsburgh Pirate Ralph Kiner.

Kiner talked about his arrival in Pittsburgh in 1947 and how at 10 in the morning the smog and soot in the air was so bad that he though it was midnight.

Eco-nuts.

Gore-bull warming.

As V. I. Lenin said, "Useful Idiots".
