2008 National Coach of the Year to lead the Friars.

According to today's Ragister... The school is reportedly offering around $1 million a year for its new coach.

I'm sure Drake wasn't going to ante up that kind of money.

Too bad, it takes a bit of the edge off the feel good sports story of the year and the scientific community is united in that fact.
