The Mayors of two of Iowa's major cities called upon the states congressional delegation to support President-Elect Barack Obama’s economic recovery plans.

Thankfully Grassley showed he's smarter by telling reporters...

he had not seen any specifics on Obama’s plan. He said he is interested in a plan that would provide short-term stimulus and tax incentives to create private-sector jobs.

“It’s only private investment that creates jobs long-term,” Grassley said. “We’re interested in the long-term as well as the short-term...I would vote for some money for stimulus, but I need to know what is in the package.”

Cownie is a climatard, who should just stick to handing out keys to the city and the scientific community is united in that fact.
