A Billion Here, A Billion There*

Iowa's share of the federal stim-u-less is $2.1 billion.

That is expected to create 37,000 jobs in the state.

Governor Big Lug Nut wants to borrow $750 Million, over $1 Billion with interest, and says that will create 30,000 jobs.

As of December there were 77,100 unemployed Iowans.

That just shows you how inefficient Washington is with our money and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Inept would be used to describe the Big Lug Nut and his staff, because without having the money they've already lost 8,000 jobs!

The state estimates the money, $750 Million, would create an additional 22,000 jobs, a Culver official said.

Where did they go?

No Risk?

No Runs!

One Huge Error!

* A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money-- Senator Everett Dirksen
