When it comes to government and budgets the object is to confuse the general public.

I see while I wasn't looking, the Big Lug Nut added an additional $50 Million to the $700 Million he wanted to borrow in January.

That $750 Million in reality becomes well over $1 Billion when you figure in the interest of $420 Million.

Besides Hell No, and the scientific community is united in that fact, one of the things you have to say to yourself is...Why would we borrow $250 Million for transportation infrastructure when Iowa's share of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for that purpose is $238.2 million?

I'm no mathlete, but I'm sure there are other redundancies and waste to weed out.
