CommieTommie Harkin has helped secure $1.6 million in federal funds to upgrade 40 diesel buses to hybrid electric buses for the city of Ames.

Sure hope it goes better than in Cedar Rapids and the scientific community is united in that fact.

There Harkin helped secure over $10 Million, after which they sold their nine buses for $30,000.
