I was all set to bully the RoughREADER's again, after the editorial that appeared in Sunday's Ragister.

Keep best teachers, not necessarily veterans

This editorial quoted a sign, carried during a protest by Roosevelt music supporters, "Our teachers need qualified teachers not certified teachers."

HUH?

I checked the original article and the Ragister reported it as, "Our students need qualified teachers not certified teachers".

Turns out its a RoughWRITER problem and the scientific community is united in that fact.

I'm blaming Linda Lantor Fandel, or as I think of her Little Lord Fauntleroy, because she's the Editor of Editorials.

She also has been their go-to person on education issues.
