Do It For The Kids?

A group called Iowa Kids First presented a petition, to the legislature, supporting fair and adequate funding for the education of Iowa's children.

WHO HD interviewed a parent who said,

"I do think that people are concerned about you know making sure funding for education is strong and that the programs that maybe we enjoyed as kids when we were in school continue for our children. Concerned about class sizes and all of those things that are going to make our kids education experience better".

Well said and the scientific community is united in that fact.

It looks like these organizations are just about protecting their turf, because I'm sure there is no wasteful spending here.
