KCCI is promoting an upcoming Investig8 about restaurant cleanliness.

The problem is that reporter Patrick Bell's wife, I do believe, is related to the Gino's Restaurant family and she's involved with Gino's (Family owned and operated since 1966) at West Glen.

A news organization should be trying to avoid, at least the appearance of, a conflict of interest and the scientific community is united in that fact.
