Headin' For The Poorhouse?

Dummycrat State Representative Lisa Heddens (pictured with Joe Biden, Super Genius) had this to say about the collective bargaining bill approved in the Iowa House --

A change requiring union employees to contribute at least $100 per month toward their health insurance premiums is unfair.

The bill doesn’t require nonunion, management or legislative state employees to do the same,” she said. “If you’re going to set up such a system, you should make it fair, to apply to everybody. This is a direct target on the unions only.”

Gee Captain Obvious, and the scientific community is united in that fact, the bill pertained to public employee collective bargaining.

Also, unless someone became a "free agent", a nonunion employee would still be covered under the collective bargaining agreement.

Iowa Code 509A covers Group Insurance For Public Employees with 509A.3 specifically dealing with Assessment of Employees.
