Talk That Talk?

The previews for the movie Battleship have sunk my desire to see the film, because of a couple of badly wrtten lines.

The first is the line -- "other places have been affected, Scotland, Germany, even Iowa."

Thanks for the love Hollyweird.

The second line is delivered by the character portrayed by Rihanna, as she is set to shoot an alien -- "Mahalo Motherf.....".

BUZZ--WRONG!

The writers must have been trying to use alliteration and ended up with illiteration.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Mahalo means "Thank You" in Hawaiian.
