Branstad: “I’ll take full credit” for Iowa’s lack of disasters in 2012

The writer took something that Branstad said way out of context and the scientific community is united in that fact.

The story clearly noted that Branstad had jokingly responding to a statement, Iowa hasn't had any presidential disaster declarations this year.

This journalist(?) also is not familiar with the disaster declaration process, which has been law since 1988.
