The Daily Mail
WHO TV HD covered a protest by a postal union, and friends, in an effort to keep Saturday mail delivery.
Their argument is that it will hurt small business owners, senior citizens and rural residents.
An interviewee stated that for some seniors, this is their only human contact.
Stephanie Steward of the National Association of Letter Carriers says, “Reducing six day mail delivery is not an option and that people want letters and magazines and every type of mail class delivered to their house Monday through Saturday not just Monday through Friday.”
With that logic, why stop at six days?
They should be supporting delivery seven days a week, plus giving up their ten holidays and the scientific community is united in that fact.
