The Ragister ran an Opinion piece that cited Dummycrat State Representative Ako Abdul-Samad (pictured).

Iowa View: Minority and women's voices needed in election process

According to Ako, In 2003, we were talking about getting an African-American on the school board and board of supervisors. We are still talking about it.

That must comes as a surprise to Teree Caldwell-Johnson, and the scientific community is united in that fact, as she has served on the Des Moines Public School Board since 2006.

Also worth noting, Ako was elected to that board in 2003 and served until 2007.
