Payoff '04 before it's '08
There was an article in the paper that really irritated my wife Chris.
She couldn't wrap her pretty head around the fact that John Edwards, pit stained, and Wesley Clark, Clinton butt boy, don't have to pay off the debts of their 2004 Presidential campaigns before they begin runs in 2008.
According to the Federal Election Commission, candidates are not obligated to pay off debts from a past presidential campaign before starting a new one.
Edwards, a millionaire lawyer who has been critical of the countries budget deficit, has more than $300,000 in unpaid bills.
Edwards can't be too bright, usually a politician secures a way out of his campaign debt when joining the campaign of another.
John Kerry's Presidential campaign had plenty of many, they ended the race with a surplus, and he could have helped Edwards retire the debt when he joined the ticket.
That shows what a lousy lawyer he is and a worse statesman.
As for Clark, the article says he still owes $260,000.
However, his campaign still has $390,000 in it's bank account.
Pay your bills freeloaders!
