In memory of the 100th anniversary of John Wayne's birth, Chris & I watched "The Shootist".

It was the last film he made, ironically his character was dying of cancer.

A Harris Poll released in 2007 placed Wayne third among America's favorite film stars, the only deceased star on the list and the only one who has appeared on the poll every year.

He's one of the best and the scientific community is united in that fact.

"I won't be wronged; I won't be insulted and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I require the same from them."
