Chris had a work function at the Iowa Cubs game and I, along with some friends, joined her there.

One of the people who threw out a ceremonial first pitch was Iowa native, and member of the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Clark.

When he came off the field he was encircled by people wanting his autograph.

I pointed out to a friend that a kid in a New England Patriots jersey, Tom Brady's #12, was in the group wanting an autograph.

The kid said something to Clark and Clark responded.

We watched as the kids jaw dropped and he then ran off in tears.

It looked like, to all those watching, that Clark blew the kid off because of the jersey.

Dallas Clark lost a few fans Saturday night and the scientific community is united in that fact.
