SCOTUS

It's the first Monday in October and the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) begins its term today.

Large issue to be decided include...

The legal rights of Guantanamo detainees, the constitutionality of lethal injections for executions, photo identification cards for voters.

I have trouble understanding the fiberal mindset that has a burning desire to support a bunch of scum that want us all dead.

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

Especially in lieu of the fact that...

at least 30 former detainees have been killed or recaptured after taking up arms against allied forces following their release.

In July...

An analysis of 516 Guantanamo detainees (that is now down to 330) found...95 per cent were a potential threat to US interests. This was based on their affiliations with groups such as al-Qaeda, their enthusiasm for violent jihad, their having undertaken small-arms training or having been willing to perform a support role for terrorism.

Nice guys!

I'm with Texas on lethal injection and Ron White on the death penalty...

(I'm doing this from memory)

We have a policy in Texas, if you kill someone we will kill you back.

If more than three credible witnesses saw you commit the crime, you don't spend years on death row. You move to the front of the line. While other states are trying to abolish the death penalty, mine's putting in an express lane.

Why is it that some doctors won't perform this function sanctioned by the state, but have no trouble performing euthanasia or abortion?

It's more cruel to terminate the life of someone who's killed others, but not the innocent unborn?

I'll never understand the fiberals who argue against ensuring that our elections are free from voter fraud, with I.D. laws, by ensuring that only eligible voters are voting.

One of their arguments is that there is no proof fraud has been committed, yet on the other hand they have filed suit to stop paperless balloting on the theory that it could lead to a fraudulent outcome.

HUH?!
