I'm so confused
I thought the scientific community is united in the fact that "Gore-bull" warming is at a crisis level.
As I read the snowman's sign it looks like we should be doing more to warm the globe.
Chris & I are on board with our new slogan, "Cold is STUPID!"
It sounds like Greenpeace is too.
They sponsored an event at the Capitol Saturday, Step It Up.
"Gore-bull" warming surely can't be a concern if only about 50 people turned out to hear Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie and former South Dakota Senator Tom Daschle.
While watching football last night I couldn't help but notice NBC/Universal's "Green is Universal" theme.
They interviewed Matt Lauer, of the Today show, in Greenland and I'm sure he mentioned the long walk he took to get there from New York and how Ann Curry swam to Antarctica because they didn't believe in any of that phony practice of buying carbon offsets for their winging the world.
Lauer did say they'd be..."interviewing the best minds on this subject, like former Vice President Al Gore".
HA!
By the way the Sunday Night Football crew shut down the lights at halftime, using candles & flashlights to conduct their business.
Keith Olbermann could be heard pissing and moaning about the lack of light.
Olbermann used to be good on ESPN, but he's become a lunatic on his Countdown show and is a distraction on SNF.
Case in point; while reading the highlights of the Patriots-Colts game Olbermann mentioned the score at one point the Patriots lead 7-3 and then 7-6.
Wrapping up the highlights Olbermann said the Patriots were behind the whole game.
You can't have a lead early and be behind the whole game.
