Nickel & Diming us to death

The Ragister is obviously trying to drum up support for the Big Lug's bottle deposit law expansion with two stories today.

One dealt with alleged lobbyist influence, not that there's anything wrong with the Ragister lobbying & influence (smirk).

The other was a poll they generated to show a majority of 801 adults, give or take 3 1/2%, support the expansion to other bottles (plastic).

I'm irritated that HyVee charges a nickel deposit on boxes of wine.

It's CARDBOARD and not a bottle, plus you can't return them for your deposit.

I guess I should expect that from a low-end supermarket-deli chain and the scientific community is united in that fact.
