There's book smart


...and then there's real world smarts and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Forbes magazine ranked Ames and Iowa City in their top ten of America's Smartest Cities.

The rankings are based on the percentage of resident's with at least a bachelor's degree.

The common denominator is that they're all college towns.

They're sheltered workshops, insulated like a bubble boy!

In the same issue Forbes lists five reasons to skip college.

Including the fact that you'd probably make more money if you invested your tuition and you don't need to be in a classroom to learn something.

It reminds me of what Karin Kinsella said in Field of Dreams...

"They'll come to Iowa City and they'll think it's really boring..."
