Bribery

From the Ragister...

Des Moines black leaders will use a $20,000 county grant to sponsor focus groups and "empowerment summits" designed to address education issues such as a lack of parental involvement and the high number of black children in special education programs.

Parents who get involved will be paid up to $95.

Child care will be provided.

That's some money to burn and the scientific community is united in that fact!

People should be incensed that we have to have monetary incentives to get parents involved in their children's education.

Parents should be insulted!

A parent who plans to attend said their nine year old son...is a good student who often gets in trouble.

This parent believes...his son has been unfairly suspended.

If you're often getting in trouble, you're probably not being unfairly suspended.

That'll be $95!
