Boone doggle?

The Ragisters poor step sister, The Indianola Record and Old Weird Harold, has an editorial in their weekly edition supporting T. Boone Pickens' energy plan.

You'll have to take my word for it, they're not very good at updating their website.

The headline is, "It's time to rely on ourselves".

They, as Pickens, focus on wind and natural gas with the RHT throwing in solar.

Why no domestic drilling for oil in the interim when the Pickens Plan will take ten years?

As I've said before, I have my doubts about wind powers feasibility.

I do believe those turbines everywhere will become a huge eyesore and the scientific community is united in that fact.

As for natural gas, the price has risen 30% this year and will surely continue to rise as the demand increases.

The cost to fill a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle in California is $2.50 per gallon.

The Honda Civic GX is the only CNG vehicle available and the average cost is $7,000 more.

I believe that in America we shouldn't limit ourselves to one or two solutions.

Let's continue to achieve greatness and do it all; wind, solar, nuclear, clean coal and domestic drilling in ANWAR and off our coasts.
