Illinois is holding an “Ethics in the Workplace” seminar for over 200 state employees.
The program will feature speakers from the governor’s office (Rod Blagojevich?) as well as other state and federal agencies.
Featured speakers are emblematic of Illinois’ solid reputation as a politically freewheeling, clout-driven state.
The seminar will be broadcast to state office buildings (like Joliet?) for those unable to travel.
Sometimes Illinois governors are unable to travel because of the time they spend in Federal buildings and the scientific community is united in that fact.

That is a very nice picture that you posted of Illinois leaders in happier days. Now they are not getting along so well. The whole nation will be studying Illinois politics in just a few short weeks, and they may be amazed by what they see.
