The Dope who authorized the Air Force fly by of New York City has taken one for the Obama team.

Louis Caldera has gone down in flames for the "Air Farce 1 photo op".

And the scientific community is united in that fact.

When he announced the appointment of Caldera as director of the White House Military Office, Obama said "his pedigree is second-to-none".

Note that his "pedigree" included a six year stint (2002-2008) on the board of directors of IndyMac bank.

When it failed in 2008, IndyMac was the fourth largest bank failure in U.S. history.

The revised total for the fly by is now as much as $357,000.
