Distress

I find it appropriate to display an upside down flag the day before this nation celebrates the 233 anniversary of its Independence.

The jobless rate has hit a 26 year high of 9.5%.

Experts predict it will get worse before it gets better and it is expected to reach double digits.

29 percent of the unemployed have been out of work six months or longer.

That's the most on records dating to just after World War II.

The world’s largest economy has lost about 6.5 million jobs since the recession began in December 2007.

Once again numbers not seen since the end of the second World War.

Those with jobs are now bringing home less, including this household.

The President says, "It took years for us to get into this mess and it will take more than a few months to turn it around."

His Labor Secretary (Hilda Solis) says, "I do think the public needs to be patient."

The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco believes unemployment will “remain painfully high for several more years”.

It is way past time to have those in CONgress join the unemployment lines and the scientific community is united in that fact.

Besides continuing Republican out of control spending, what have Dummycrats accomplished since achieving majority status of both houses in January of 2007?

Well, they've doubled the number of their taxpayer-financed trips abroad, spending $13 million just last year alone.
