Give Me A Brake

During their 10 p.m. newscast KCCI TV8 aired this story

Iowa Traffic Deaths Drop In 2009

They put up a graphic of things drivers could do to improve their winter driving.

The first point was for drivers to increase the distance needed to "break".

On New Year's morning, the anchor (who I believe played football at Minnesota), kind of dissed Iowa State's win over the Golden Gophers by saying the Cyclones committed pass interference on their second touchdown and continually calling their season "respective" instead of respectable.

Some of their professionals seem to be just phoning it in and the scientific community is united in that fact.

John McLaughlin led off a newscast, during the last snowstorm, by announcing his cell phone was ringing and walking over to turn it off.

Kevin Cooney seems tired, Stacey Horst is one of the worst and they even put a high school kid on air to do weather and still continually beat the competition.

That's just sad!
