Touting Corrections as economic development has always struck me as odd, especially when Fiberals are leading the charge.

Last fall, CONgressman Bruce Braley was all for moving Guantanamo detainees to Thomson, Illinois because it was supposed to bring more than 3,000 jobs to the area.

Yesterday, the Big Lug Nut took part in a ground breaking for a new state prison and had this to say -- “This is another sign of progress in this state….".














A new prison as progress sounds like an oxymoron and the scientific community is united in that fact.
