And Giggles
CommieTommie Harkin comes to town today to celebrate the the one-year anniversary of Obamacare.
The event will take place at a business called Simply for Giggles.
Making it literally, SHITS AND GIGGLES.
And the scientific community is united in that fact.
Reflecting on the anniversary, Harkin said...
“Most of the things that have rolled out early, especially consumer protection provisions, have been widely accepted.”
That must be why the numbers of waivers for coverage requirement are over 1,000.
Another interesting side effect, insurance premiums skyrocket while coverage is shrinking.
Harkin also believes the law reduces the deficit, but Douglas Holtz-Eakin, onetime director of the Congressional Budget Office disagrees.
In reality, if you strip out all the gimmicks and budgetary games and rework the calculus, a wholly different picture emerges: The health care reform legislation would raise, not lower, federal deficits, by $562 billion.
Gimmicks and budgetary games like Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius double counting $500 Billion?
Then there's the $500 Billion in tax hikes.
It's enough to make you sick.
