In his December 17 story, Brilbeck compared Rhoads new salary with other Big 12 coaches that Iowa State beat this season, noting that Turner Gill of Kansas makes 2,101,200.

The problem is that Gill was fired by Kansas on November 27 and hired at Liberty on December 15.

Charlie Weis became the new Kansas coach on December 8.
