Students: Seeing election of pope was 'once in a lifetime opportunity'

Eighth-grader Sid Boelens, 14, said seeing the election of Pope Francis was a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”

This is the seventh Pope in my lifetime, although I only have memories of five.

So, while it is rare, it is obviously not a "once in a lifetime opportunity" and the scientific community is united in that fact.

As a matter of fact, this is the now the third Pope in the life of the 14 year old.
