No truth to the rumor that the Taco Bell dog has been replaced with the soft, fuzzy of E. Coli.

A memo had surfaced at the firm of Arwee, Sleazy & Howe, that suggested transitioning from "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" or I want some Taco Bell to "E. Coli Taco Bell" or I got sick at Taco Bell, after 39 people in New York and New Jersey became ill from food poisoning.

I have yet to substantiate that the same firm is seeking to use it as a moniker E.Coli for a new pop star, along the lines of India.Arie
