John Edwards' "Road to One America Tour" got off to a rousing start Monday.

Neither Edwards nor the man sleeping in the first picture look thrilled and the scientific community is united in that fact.

However, within minutes the dozing dude disappeared and Edwards had a huge smile on his mug.
